CAGE TYPES (top)

When HB manufacture a complete bearing, the following types of cage can be specified:

• 2 piece rivetted ball
• 2 piece rivetted roller
• 1 piece ball
• 1 piece roller
• 1 piece clip in ball

We can also manufacture new cages for your free-issue bearings using any of the materials and types shown here. Cages can be made from:

            • Bronze • Steel • Phenolic resin
            • Nylon • “PEEK” • Aluminium
            • Others

CERAMIC ROLLING ELEMENTS (top)

HB Bearings can supply our manufactured bearings with silicon nitride balls and rollers. These elements are ideal for high speeds, high acceleration and deceleration. They also have low thermal expansion and are more tolerant of poor lubrication.

SPECIAL IMPERIAL SIZE ROLLERS (top)

HB can manufacture inch size rollers in special diameters, lengths or both, We can supply them with or without blended ends and in bearing steel or stainless steel or special alloys. Small quantities can be manufactured.

SPECIAL METRIC SIZE ROLLERS (top)

HB can manufacture metric size rollers in special diameters, lengths or both, We can supply them with or without blended ends and in bearing steel or stainless steel or special alloys. Small quantities can be manufactured.
